The Delta Dental Networks

Delta Dental of Virginia has two participating dentist networks — Delta Dental PPO™ and Delta Dental Premier®. Your patients’ network options will depend on their plan. To ensure your services are covered under your patient's Delta Dental benefits plan, please make sure to check the upper right-hand corner of their ID card for network information. 

Benefits will be paid based on your participation in this network. If you do not participate in the network on your patient’s ID card, their benefits may be reduced or not covered. Find out more about how to join our network by clicking on the button below.

Delta Dental PPO

Delta Dental PPO is our preferred provider organization and is quickly becoming the network of choice among employers and patients. The following plans utilize the Delta Dental PPO network.

  • Delta Dental PPO — EPO Plan Design

Delta Dental Premier

Delta Dental Premier is the largest dental network in the nation. The plans below utilize the Delta Dental Premier network.

  • Delta Dental PPO (or Delta Dental Premier)
  • Delta Dental PPO Choice

The Dual Network Safety Net

Delta Dental gives your patients an added benefit that other carriers can't offer — our dual network safety net. Patients with the following plans can also visit a Delta Dental Premier dentist at a slightly higher out-of-pocket cost: Delta Dental PPO plus Premier, Delta Dental PPO aXcess, Delta Dental PPO Choice and Delta Dental PPO (or Delta Dental Premier).
